Ospa-BlueControl® – The heart of the treatment system

The Ospa-BlueControl® is the intelligent control system that precisely manages and monitors all functions of the swimming pool, ensuring energy-efficient operation. This innovative technology ensures that all water parameters remain within optimal ranges, energy is conserved, CO2 emissions are reduced, and our resources and environment are preserved.

Energy-efficient pumps and motors

With modern Ospa pool technology, all energy consumers in the pool are designed for energy-saving operation. This begins with the production of disinfectant, which is produced on-site as needed using our process from regenerative salt, and continues with the pumps. A key component of modern Ospa pool technology is frequency-controlled pumps, whose power consumption is adjusted according to the required performance, ensuring energy-efficient operation and optimal circulation flow at all times. The motors used comply with the new EU standards for electric motors, which prescribe higher energy efficiency.

Energy-saving mode during idle periods

One of the energy-saving features of Ospa pool technology is an energy-saving mode during idle periods. This means that during rest phases, when the roll-up cover is closed, the room temperature is lowered. Since Ospa-BlueControl® also communicates with the climate control system and is managed via the Ospa-BlueControl® touchscreen, this is easily accomplished. Lowering the room temperature saves energy and thus reduces operating costs.

Lowering water level during idle times

Another measure for the energy-efficient operation of the pool is lowering the water level during idle times. This action dries out the overflow channel, and circulation only occurs through a pool suction system. This energy-saving mode is programmed into the Ospa-BlueControl® system. The intelligent control monitors all processes. The energy-saving effect is that no water can evaporate through the overflow channel, meaning the air conditioning system needs to dehumidify less, resulting in lower electricity consumption. Water circulation now only occurs in the so-called small circuit, bypassing the surge tank, further minimising energy consumption.

Intelligent control of water attractions

Naturally, Ospa-BlueControl® also ensures that energy is not wasted during the operation of water attractions. For example, an attraction sequencing control can be programmed, which is especially interesting for hotel and commercial pools: individual attractions are interlocked, preventing them from running simultaneously and thereby avoiding expensive power peaks.

LED spotlights for efficiency and longevity

A key component of modern pool technology is the use of LED spotlights, which can also be controlled by Ospa-BlueControl®. LEDs, especially coloured RGB spotlights, not only look great but also last significantly longer than conventional halogen spotlights. This means fewer lamp changes and significantly lower maintenance costs. Most importantly, LEDs consume only a fraction of the energy compared to traditional halogen spotlights.

Integration with residential buildings

Finally, Ospa-BlueControl® and the entire Ospa pool technology can be integrated with common bus systems in residential buildings. This allows homeowners to achieve optimal networking of all energy consumers in their home with minimal energy consumption and no loss of comfort, while fully utilizing all facilities, including the pool and wellness area. Optimal control technology, where Ospa pool technology is integrated into the overall system, ensures energy-efficient operation of the entire setup at all times.

Ospa super filter systems operate highly efficiently through optimised fine water distribution and thorough backwashing. They continuously and effectively remove impurities, odours, and taste substances using highly effective activated carbon. Durable filter material ensures lower consumption and greater sustainability.

Gentle disinfection Ospa-BlueClear® system

Ospa-BlueClear® systems produce disinfectants on demand. Using in-house electrolysis, only natural salt is needed, eliminating the need to store hazardous chemicals. This approach protects the environment and further reduces operating costs.
