Laura Philipp, 4th place at Ironman Hawaii

Laura Philipp is absolutely world class.

In one of the most difficult races in the world, at the IRONMAN World Championships in Kona, Hawaii, Laura Philipp's debut performance found her in 4th place. 

"The race was really a wonderful surprise for me. You always hear that Hawaii writes its own stories. I am that much happier that I was able to achieve fourth place in my debut race. I would like to thank all of my sponsors and partners, my friends and family: without you, this would not have been possible!"

It's clear from her face that she can hardly believe it herself. Exhausted and over the moon, she crossed the finish line at 8 hours, 51 minutes and 40 seconds.

Laura Philipp has been an Ospa brand ambassador since 2016 and advises in the development of professional counter-current swimming systems. As in years past, Laura Philipp trains with the Ospa PowerSwim to optimally prepare for challenges such as the IRONMAN World Championships in Hawaii.
