Ospa swimming pool filters are designed to deliver exceptional filtration results thanks to their advanced construction and innovative internal water distribution. An additional activated carbon filter layer binds unwanted substances, catalytically converts them, and absorbs dissolved organic materials. This ensures the reliable removal of odours, tastes, and colourants, including THMs and combined chlorine, which cause that characteristic chlorine smell.

Ospa hydroantracite S offers properties similar to activated carbon, binding dirt and odour-causing chlorine compounds long before they become noticeable. Dissolved organic substances are reliably neutralized. The material’s immense filtering capability is underscored by its structure: just one tablespoon of the porous carbon material provides a surface area equivalent to an entire football field. Optimised backwashing technology ensures consistent filtration performance, resulting in crystal-clear water without unpleasant chlorine odours.
